Founded in 1851, Bally has been a trusted companion for adventurers, providing them with durable footwear for Mount Everest expeditions and even supplying curling boots for the Swiss team in the 1956 Winter Olympics.
Their 'Alpine Collection' is a testament to their expertise, featuring shearling and down outerwear that will keep you warm and stylish on the slopes. The boots are designed to conquer any cold and slushy terrain, while the tote bags and backpacks in curly shearling or logo quilting add a touch of luxury to your après-ski adventures.
"Our archive is an incredible source of inspiration for our design team," says Mario Grauso, Operating Partner of Regent's fashion and luxury group, Bally's parent company. During a walk-through with WWD, Grauso showcased the brand's heritage and attention to detail.
The presentation space was transformed into a winter wonderland, with vintage posters and expedition photos adorning the walls. The team displayed around 20 looks on a round dais, including chic hiking boots trimmed with shearling, inspired by vintage ski footwear.
Archival prints of snow-covered landscapes and cross-country skiers added a touch of visual magic to the collection. The signature 'B' motif made its appearance on shearling coats, a knitted cape, and scarves, further enhancing the brand's identity.
Grauso emphasized that men's fashion is a significant focus for Bally, and the brand continues to produce many of its products in Switzerland, upholding its craftsmanship and performance-driven design legacy.
