Robbie Williams' Powerful Letter to Yungblud: A Message of Support and Understanding (2026)

In the whirlwind world of music, where fame and fortune often collide with personal struggles, a heartfelt gesture can make all the difference. Yungblud, the dynamic artist, recently revealed the profound impact of a letter he received from none other than Robbie Williams. This wasn't just any note; it arrived at a critical moment, offering solace and understanding.

For Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, the past year has been a rollercoaster. He celebrated the release of his album 'Idols', opened his own venue space, and even earned his first Grammy nominations. However, the year also brought its share of hardships, including the loss of his mentor, Ozzy Osbourne, and the cancellation of his final shows due to health concerns.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Yungblud opened up about the personal letter from Robbie Williams. Williams, a fellow solo artist with his own history of mental health challenges and public scrutiny, offered a relatable perspective.

"He wrote me this letter when it really needed to come," Yungblud shared. "He related himself to me, saying that he knew what it was like to be a 28-year-old who was trying to figure out who they were, while also dealing with a million opinions about what he could be or never be. People don't give Robbie the credit for his mind and the way he sees things."

But here's where it gets controversial... Williams has a history of extending a helping hand to fellow artists. He reached out to Lewis Capaldi during his struggles in the public eye in 2023.

"It’s very difficult for people to understand the psychology of this great gift that has been given to you but yet it’s breaking you. Why? You’ve got money; you’ve got people going, ‘We love you.’ Wat’s the problem with that?” Williams said in 2023.

Regarding his Grammy nominations, Yungblud described them as both an "honour" and "tragic." He's nominated for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Performance for his rendition of 'Changes' at the final Black Sabbath show.

"I don’t know how I feel about it," he admitted. "As a singer, to be Grammy nominated for a live performance where you can’t go into a studio and overdub it or make it perfect, it’s a moment that’s gone and you can’t share it with the person you were singing it to.”

Looking ahead, Yungblud has a busy schedule. He's set to embark on a UK and Ireland arena tour in April, which has been extended due to high demand. Before that, he has Australian shows in January and will perform at Lollapalooza India on January 24.

And this is the part most people miss... In April, he'll play intimate shows in London and Kingston and is also on the lineups for Bonnaroo and Pinkpop next year. His EP with Aerosmith, 'One More Time,' was released on November 21, featuring the single 'My Only Angel' released in September. The two acts previously collaborated to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the MTV VMAs.
