Staley, a redshirt freshman, had an outstanding season, earning the prestigious SEC Freshman of the Year award. He finished sixth in the SEC with an impressive 806 receiving yards, averaging 67.2 yards per game. That's not all – he became only the third player in Tennessee history to snag this honor, joining legends like running back Jamal Lewis and quarterback Peyton Manning.
But here's where it gets exciting: Staley didn't just excel; he dominated. He led all SEC freshmen in both receiving yards and yards per game. He also tied for the league lead among freshmen with six receiving touchdowns. Talk about making an impact! He even earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors twice in 2025.
